We have recently released two MICR .NET controls; the Forms Control and Server Control. MICR is the format of the font used to print the bottom line of bank checks. With these new controls the MICR line can now be printed as an image. The Forms Control is used in local .NET applications and the Server Control is used in .NET Web Applications. To download a demo of the control or obtain more information, please visit one of the following:

For an economical MICR Check Reader, we offer the SCANTEAM® 8310 made by HHP. This reader contains FLASH memory which allows for easy firmware upgrades in the field without the need to disassemble the product, and a magnetic read head for MICR data capture. It has motorized paper transport for quick, easy check handling, and a high first pass good read rate. This reader can auto-discriminate documents encoded with either E-13B or CMC-7 fonts and allows for the attachment of a 1, 2, or 3 track integrated MSR reader.

Some applications such as SAP, C++ and
a few others require unique font settings.
First, try the non-symbol encoded fonts, which are usually provided in a folder named "Without Symbol Encoding" in the ZIP file. If your ZIP file does not contain this folder, then that package does not use symbol encoded fonts. We understand that using non-symbol encoded fonts can resolve problems in some applications.
If your Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription is up to date and you have ordered more than 1 Single User License, please email us your OrderID number and the exact name of the font you are trying to get to work. In some cases, we can recompile the font using different settings that these applications favor.
We now include information in our PDF417 FAQ to help users of our products create
barcodes for FEDEX applications. We also include a new font with our PDF417 Font
and Encoder that supports the FEDEX specification. More information about this is
