IDAutomation RFID Barcode Label Software

The beta version of the IDAutomation RFID Barcode Label Software has now been released. This package is an advanced, easy to use, WYSIWYG bar code label printing software application that prints barcodes, text and graphics on standard laser or inkjet printers, in addition to labels on thermal transfer bar-code printers and RFID capable printers.

The RFDI version has the same features as our IDAutomation Barcode Label Pro Software but with the following additional capabilities:

• Several methods are provided to easily format data to RFID tags
• Compatible with all EPC 64 bit and 96 bit RFID tags and other UHF smart labels your printer supports
• Links to data sources such as comma delimited or CSV text, Microsoft^® Excel, Access, ODBC, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Supports the Datamax I Class printer and any other RFID printer with a Windows^® print driver

Symbol Technologies - Newly Reduced Scanners

Symbol Technologies has lowered their scanner prices on several of their top models just in time for the holidays:

• Symbol LS2208 Laser Scanners - Starting at $199
• Symbol DS6608 2D Digital Scanner - Starting at $439
• Symbol LS 9208 Omni-Directional Linear Scanner - Starting at $369

Microsoft Office Bar Code Macros & VBA Functions

In our updated release of the Microsoft Office Bar Code Macros & VBA Functions, version 2006.1, we have included the following updates:

• Code93(DataToEncode) function which formats the output to print with the 2 required check digits using when using our Code 93 fonts.
• UPCe(DataToEncode) function where the DataToEncode is a UPC-E number of 6, 7 or 8 digits or a UPC-A number string of 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 or 17 digits with or without a check digit, and formats output to our UPC/EAN barcode font.
• Improved formatting for Code 128 Auto which using our Code 128 Fonts.

IDAutomation.com, Inc. offers technical support and product upgrade protection if the "Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription" is purchased with your order. Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription allows you to receive:

• Priority phone support.
• The latest version of the product or to reset your download link for previously purchased products.
• Additional contact information.
• Help Desk support on the evenings, weekends and holidays. (IDAutomation.com will be closed December 23rd through December 26th and December 30th through January 1st for the Holidays. Support will be limited to those Help Desk Tickets and emails that have Priority Support.)
