Windows Vista Compatibility:

All of our current products have been tested and are fully functional in Windows Vista. Exceptions may apply such as granting rights to the component.  For example:

When opening a file in Microsoft Office 2007 containing Barcode Macros, VBA or ActiveX Controls, a security warning message of "Some active content has been disabled" or "Certain content in the database has been disabled" may appear:
Active content has been disabled error

Security & MICR E13B Font Update:

Security Block FontTo provide more options, we have added an additional Security font to this package. The new font is a black block background with the numbers in white and the written character embedded into the number itself.

Security Fonts are used to securely print text, names and currency amounts on highly secure documents, such as a bank check, in a manner that cannot be easily altered and may prevent forgery.

OCR Font Advantage Package Update:

OCRa and OCRb font exampleThe OCR Font Package has been updated with new and improved PCL Fonts. Previously only size 1 was included and now we offer size 1, 3 and 4 in 300 and 600 DPI. These improvements are only offered in the sale version.

Universal Font Advantage Package Update:

We have added the Universal Java Encoder as one of our font tools for the Universal Font. This Java class will convert the data to be encoded into a string of text, combining with IDAutomation's universal bar code font, forming a correct barcode.

The Universal Barcode Font Advantage (TM) is designed to create most linear barcodes as a single font on multiple operating systems and locales, including Double Byte versions of Windows such as those used in China and Japan as well as other Asian locale settings. Includes examples for Visual Basic, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Crystal Reports. ASP.NET Barcode Web Component:

ASP.NET web componentIn the new release of the ASP.NET products, we have added Onecode and UCC128 support, as well as streamlined the code for creating the barcodes.

Oracle Database Link Error:

Users may receive an Oracle Database Link Error when using IDAutomation Barcode Label Software: 'OraOLEDB' Oracle provider is not registered on the local machine.

Product updates & Priority Support:

IDAutomation's Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription allows you to receive the latest version of the product, unlimited phone support, priority Help Desk support during work hours and additional help desk support on evenings, weekends and holidays.

If you have an active Priority Support agreement, log back into our online store and go to “Account” located in the upper right hand corner. On the Account screen, there will be a list of Recent Orders with a summary of what each order contains if there is more than one. Click on the "View Order" button of the order that contains the software to download. The download will be located under Digital Goods section of the online Invoice.

For customers who do not purchase the Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription, support is limited to our online knowledge base and the product support site. Product updates are only provided to customers with an active Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription.
