DataMatrix is a high-density 2D barcode symbology that can encode approximately 800 characters of text, numbers, files and actual bytes of data. One of the smallest barcode symbologies in existence, the DataMatrix barcode is approximately 30 times smaller than a Code 39 barcode representing the same data. 2D DataMatrix barcodes are also the best choice when faxing documents with barcodes because the Data Matrix can withstand poor resolution and scanning issues.

Data Matrix barcodes produced with the demo version of this fonts package will be slightly larger than normal because the text "DEMO [CR] [LF]" will be added to the beginning of any data encoded. Native encoders are provided in purchased versions only.
