The Barcode Recognition Decoder SDK is a single DLL that reads a barcode image in the .NET development environment. This is easily utilized in desktop or web applications with Visual Basic .NET or C# .NET. The SDK is not limited by speed and can decode images as fast as the system can process. Common implementations of this product include scanning barcodes from camera images, automatic sortation of scanned pages, inbound fax automation and decoding separator pages in batch scanning jobs.

If it is desired to scan barcode images with hardware, IDAutomation offers several hand-held Barcode Scanners such as the IDAutomation USB Scanner.
