Code 39 Mod43 Barcode Specifications
The Code39Mod43 barcode option is used in IDAutomation Barcode Fonts, Components and Applications to create a Code 39 barcode with a MOD43 check digit included. The Code 39 barcode symbology, also referred to as Barcode/39, Code 3 of 9, LOGMARS and HIBC, encodes numbers and uppercase letters.- Using the Code39Mod43 barcode option with a font encoder returns text formatted to the Code 39 Barcode Fonts.
- Using Uni_C39 with a universal barcode font encoder returns text formatted to the Universal Barcode Font; MOD43 is enabled when the IncludeCheckDigit parameter is true.
- The Code39 barcode option in all Components and Applications will produce a barcode image. To enable MOD43, select the option to enable the check digit.
- Nat_Code39Mod43 creates a "Native" barcode from pure text without requiring the installation of any additional fonts or components. These options exist in the Native Barcode Generators for Crystal Reports, Access, FileMaker, JavaScript and Oracle Reports.
