GS1 DataBar Limited Barcode
The DataBarLimited barcode option is specified in IDAutomation's Barcode Fonts, Components and Applications to create a DataBar Limited Barcode, which encodes the 14 digit GTIN. If less than 14 digits are in the DataToEncode, zeros are appended to the beginning of the data. If additional data needs to be encoded such as an expiration date or serial number, IDAutomation suggests the GS1 DataBar Expanded symbology.- Using the DataBarLimited option with a feature level 9 or greater font encoder returns text formatted to the DataBar 34 font.
- Using the Data Bar Limited option in all components and applications will produce a barcode image.
