USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode Specifications
The IntelligentMail barcode option is specified in IDAutomation Barcode Fonts, Components and Applications to create a USPS Intelligent-Mail barcode, which encodes a string of numbers according to the USPS encoding rules.- When the IntelligentMail barcode option is specified in a font encoder, the encoder returns a text string formatted to create an IntelligentMail barcode with either the Postnet or Universal Barcode Font.
- When using Uni_IntelligentMail with a universal barcode font encoder, the encoder returns text formatted to the Universal Barcode Font, a single cross-platform font (Windows, MAC, Linux, Unix, etc.) that creates several barcode types.
- The IntelligentMail barcode option in all components and applications will produce a barcode image.
