CCD barcode scanners or readers are durable, low power, maintenance free scanners that read barcodes by taking a linear picture that is quickly decoded. Because CCD scanners have no moving parts, they are generally more rugged then laser scanners. The CCD readers listed here may be easily integrated into various software applications and when used with a USB or keyboard connection, no external power supply is required.
