With Bluetooth wireless technology, the CR3 provides users a cable-free imager for mobile applications. Transfer of data can be done real-time or retained with the non-volatile 8MB memory. Because of Bluetooth's protocol, data transfer can accessed within a 300' range with low power consumption.

The included CodeXML Router - BE™ software enhances bi-directional transmissions and monitors wireless communication to ensure that data is not lost, even when the unit is out-of-range. The CR3 may be linked with other Bluetooth devices easily by scanning a barcode containing the device's unique Bluetooth Address with Quick Connect Code™ technology.

Dual optical paths enable reading of barcodes located from both near and far distances. The 400 Mhz, 32bit micro-processor  and 1.3 Mega Pixel CMOS provides accelerated quality decoding of high-density images. The casing is rugged and built-to-last for rough handling  in industrial environments, yet light-weight and attractive for retail and office environments.

Free software included: With each purchase of this scanner, a license is provided for the use of IDAutomation's Free Barcode Font and the Free Barcode Label Design Application. Generally, these free products may only be used by non-profit organizations.
