ActiveX Controls, Office Add-in or VBA Macros incompatible
with Office2010
64-bit
Problem(s):
Following a Microsoft update in June 2010 and the release of new 64 bit
operating systems, an incompatibility issue with the
64 bit version of Office 2010 and our ActiveX controls, the Word
Excel Add-in and the VBA macros was discovered. The ActiveX control and DLL will install and register
with the 64 bit version of Windows and can be used everywhere except
for 64 bit Office 2010.
If one of the font packages mentioned
above is being used, the
Font Encoder Application is still functional. The Word and Excel
Add-in will throw an error when running the installation. The VBA macro will
throw and error when trying to use one of the functions. All of the
components mentioned are compatible with 32 bit versions of Office 2010.
Solution(s):
All of the products mentioned
below have been reengineered to work with the
64 bit version of Office 2010 and released as of October 18th 2010.
