Second to the last character is dropped in Data Matrix C40 or TEXT modes

This problem only occurs when encoding certain combinations of upper case and lower case letters in C40 or TEXT modes of some Data Matrix products; the problem does not occur in ASCII or Binary encoding modes. When this error occurs, the second to the last character is dropped from the scanned symbol. The error can be reproduced by encoding any of the following scenarios:

Solution(s):

This problem was corrected as of August 15th, 2005 in the following products that include the Data Matrix symbology:

The problem did not occur in any of IDAutomation's other products. If an active Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription through RegNow is in effect, please contact IDAutomation with the order ID number to receive the updated download link.

If an active support agreement is in effect through IDAutomation's store, please go back to the store online and go to “My Account”.

Enter the user name, which is the email address and the password that created at the time of order. Then when logging in, the invoice should appear on the screen and in the upper right hand corner, there will be a link to “My Downloads”. This will be the location to download the update.
