Excluding the checksum character from the human readable versions of
barcode fonts
It is not possible to exclude the checksum character from the human readable
versions of barcode fonts because the checksum is actually one of the barcode
characters. If the application requires the human readable text to be printed,
and the check digit cannot be a part of the human readable text, then it is
suggested the application be changed to a text font and print the text at
the bottom of the barcode after the barcode is printed.
