Spaces appear in the middle of barcode

One of the following solutions when using Barcode Fonts may solve this problem:
The character spacing option may have to be adjusted in the application.
This is a common problem in Microsoft Word for Windows. To solve this
issue in Microsoft Word, choose Format - Font - Character Spacing. Spacing
and position should both be set to normal.
