Vertical text does not display in Access report
If using the Barcode ActiveX
Control with Access 2002 and Access 2003 and the
vertical property of
a text box control is set to “yes" in a report or in a form, the text box
control might not appear properly. This may result in one of the following:
- The font of the text in the text box control changes to a different
font.
- The text box control appears blank.
- The text in the text box control changes to text that is not readable.
Microsoft has not created a fix for this error, but does confirm that is a
known issue for both Access 2002 and Access 2003 in their support incident
titled
Text that is in a text box control of a report or a form may not appear
correctly in Access.
