MS9535 VoyagerBT Barcode Scanner Details:

The MS9535 Voyager Bluetooth Laser Barcode Scanner is a wireless hand-held barcode scanner that is among the first of its kind to utilize the emerging Bluetooth™ wireless technology standard. Designed for use in POS or light warehousing applications, VoyagerBT can communicate with its own base station or with other already-equipped Bluetooth devices such as PC's, laptops and barcode printers.

The MS9535 Voyager BT Barcode Scanner offers convenience and the freedom of mobility by incorporating Bluetooth wireless technology. This latest member of the Voyager Series continues the trend of combining patented technology, high performance, and a futuristic design. The MS9535 provides a lightweight, comfortable, and easy-to-use scanning solution.

The patented CodeGate feature remains at the core of the scanner's functionality. CodeGate is an intuitive scanning system that is ideal for all scanning applications, including menu scanning, Point-of-Sale, document processing, and inventory to name a few. The barcode scanner wakes with a touch of the CodeGate button activating the IR sensor. After scanning a barcode, simply press the CodeGate button and the data is transmitted wirelessly to the host.

Operators will find the brightly-lit laser easy to see and easy to line up on a barcode, which makes the MS9535 Voyager Bluetooth Scanner perfect for menu scanning applications. Scanning barcodes on large or heavy products can be done quickly and easily. The Voyager Bluetooth Scanner offers check-out personnel the ability to scan bulky items without the need for unnecessary heavy lifting by customers or check out personnel, making for added convenience.

The MS9535 VoyagerBT includes the ability to decode Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) barcodes and can be used in applications including supermarkets, hypermarkets, warehouse shopping clubs, retailers, light warehouse and manufacturing.

Free software included: With each purchase of this scanner, a license is provided for the use of IDAutomation's Free Barcode Font and the Free Barcode Label Design Application. Generally, these free products may only be used by non-profit organizations. However, when this scanner is purchased from IDAutomation, a license is granted without this limitation according to the license agreement. The software may be downloaded once the purchase is completed.

Lab Test Results:
In the lab, testers printed IDAutomation products with a 600 DPI Laser printer. The Metrologic scanner dependably and easily read the following:

• Code 39 barcode font printed at 8 points.
• Code 128 barcode font printed at 8 points.
• Code 128 from the ActiveX Barcode Control & DLL printed at X = .015CM.
• Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode font printed at 9 points.
