Opticon’s OPR 3001 laser scanners are high-performance devices for quick and accurate scanning of damaged or poorly printed barcodes. The rugged OPR3001 is ergonomically designed, but still a lightweight hand-held scanner that delivers dependability and sturdiness even in dirty environments or extreme weather conditions.

The OPR-3001 is sealed to IP54 standards with rugged housing that holds up well in environments where water and dust resistance is required. The scanner withstands multiple drops up to 6.5 feet onto concrete and includes a trigger-guard to prevent accidental scans. A big, bright LED light, along with an adjustable tone, provides a “good read” indication which is important while working in dimly lit or noisy environments.

Because of it’s exceptional performance and quality, the OPR 3001 has won two prestigious design awards including the iF Product Design Award and the Good Design Award from the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.

Free software included: With each purchase of this scanner, a license is provided for the use of IDAutomation's Free Barcode Font, Free Barcode Label Design Application and the Barcode Scanner ASCII String Decoder. Generally, these free products may only be used by non-profit organizations. However, when this scanner is purchased from IDAutomation, a license is granted without this limitation according to the license agreement. The software may be downloaded once the purchase is completed.
