1. Updated Font Packages

Our new IDAutomation font packages, that are dated July 2003 and later, have all been recompiled to comply with the latest specifications and operating systems such as Windows XP and Macintosh OSX. Updates in the packages include TrueType fonts that are not symbol encoded, updated PCL and PostScript fonts and new OpenType fonts.

2. AFM, FNT and Metacode Fonts available

With the purchase of a Developer License and 1 year of support and upgrade protection, we can convert fonts from this package to PCL 4, Xerox Metacode, XES, FNT and AFP. More about this is provided here. The Developer License also grants you the right to convert our fonts to other formats as necessary including TrueDoc and OpenType.

3. 2D Image Generator

The IDAutomation 2D Barcode Image Generator is a bar code image generation application that is used to create and paste barcodes into other applications. It is also used to generate high quality graphic barcode image files for import into other applications such as PhotoShop, Quark or CorelDraw for printing purposes. The 2D Barcode Image Generator contains the linear barcodes plus PDF417, Data Matrix and Maxicode symbologies. To download a demo or obtain more information, please visit:

4. Crystal UFL Update

We have released a new version of our Crystal UFL, version 2.3, which when passing invalid data through certain functions, will now create a barcode containing all zeros, rather than causing the report to shut down. To download the new version, please click here.

5. Linear Java Barcode Package Update

We have recently released a new version of the Linear Java Barcode package that addressed an issue that caused the check digit to be incorrectly calculated when the browser screen was minimized and maximized. 6. How to renew your Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription

IDAutomation.com, Inc. offers extended technical support and product upgrade protection if the "Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription" is purchased with your order. Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription allows you to receive:

The latest version of the product
Priority phone support
Email support on the weekends, holidays and when the office is closed
Additional contact information

For customers that do not purchase Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription, support is limited to our online knowledge base.

If you need to add or update your Priority Support and Upgrade Subscription, you may order it here. After your order is processed, you will receive a download link to the latest version of the product.
