The ASP.NET Web Control Packages create web based barcodes that can be easily integrated into your website and displayed in any browser without creating temp files on the server. Our new ASP.NET Web Control Package version 4.10 release has the following improvements:

• Easy implementation - just copy 3 files to your webserver. install info...
• 3 modes of operation allow different implementation methods. more about this...
• Streaming mode option sends barcodes to the browser without saving temp files on the server.
• Added ability to stream images to the browser instead of saving them to the server.

• Added processing improvements so that the underlying images were not re-created unnecessarily.

• Added property to set resolution of the images created based off of a specific printer, instead of just the default printer.

• Added GIF file functionality. When using a GIF instead of a JPEG, the resulting image file is 4 to 20 times smaller in size. This will result in faster barcode creation when using servlets.

• When running ASP.NET WebPage, Browser displays ASPX source code or attempts to download file.

Active X Control

• When attempting to save an enhanced Windows metafile to disc, using the SaveEnhWMF method of any of the IDAutomation.com ActiveX controls on a computer running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed produces the following run-time error -2147417848

Barcode Label Software

• When attempting to run the IDAutomation.com Barcode Label Software from a server via a shared or mapped drive, the following Error occurs: "Operation could destabilize the runtime"
