IDAutomation.com, Inc. announces the new release of their GS1 Databar
Java Barcode Package.
(Tampa, FL.) IDAutomation.com, Inc. announces the new release of their GS1
Databar Java Barcode Package, which contains JavaBeans, Applets, Servlets and
Class Libraries. The GS1 DataBar symbology is the latest barcode type for space-constrained
identification from GS1. DataBar barcodes have been identified to solve many
problems in POS, grocery and healthcare, where items are too small to allow
for older barcode symbologies, or additional information needs to be encoded
such as product weight, expiration dates, country of origin or serial numbers.
DataBar is also the only symbology approved by the GS1 for use in all retail
checkout systems after January 1, 2010 to encode GTIN-14 numbers.
The JavaBeans, Applets, Servlets and Class Libraries in this package may be
used on any platform with a Java Virtual Machine, including Windows, LINUX,
MacOS, Solaris, HP/UX, AS/400 and OS/390 to integrate automated bar coding into
internet applications, websites or custom Java applications. This package includes
GS1 DataBar, Stacked, Truncated, Stacked Omnidirectional, Limited, Expanded,
Expanded Stacked Omnidirectional, Composite Components, PDF417, MicroPDF417,
UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8, GS1-128 and Code 128 barcode symbologies. Website
designers will find the barcode servlets and applets efficient and easy to use.
The servlets and applets require no programming and may be inserted in dynamic
HTML with a simple IMG or Applet tag. Barcode Servlets are the best components
to use for barcoding on the Internet because they are compatible with all operating
systems and browsers.
A free demo of the product is available by download at http://www.idautomation.com/java/.
Optional Java Packages contain all the popular barcode types including PDF417,
Code 39, Code 128, UCC128, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC, EAN, POSTNET, USPS Intelligent
Mail, DataMatrix, Aztec and MaxiCode. Royalty free site or distribution licenses
for the Java barcode products start at $395 USD. IDAutomation provides barcode
fonts, components and software applications that support several barcode types.
IDAutomation.com, Inc. has been marketing products for businesses since 1996
and is privately held. For more information, visit their website at http://www.idautomation.com/.
