PHP Barcode Generator Script by IDAutomation.com
(Tampa, FL.) IDAutomation releases the
PHP Barcode Generator Script which easily adds
server-side barcode generation
capability to PHP websites. The generator script does not have any
dependencies, which allows it to be used with any ISP or web hosting provider.
Server-side barcode generation products usually require components to be
installed on the server in order to generate barcodes. For example, Java barcode
products require a servlet installation on the server and ASP.NET products
require a DLL installation. The new Barcode Generator Scripts from IDAutomation
eliminate this requirement because all of the barcode generation routines are
provided in a single PHP script file, which is processed in the same way a webpage is
opened in the browser. This is important when a barcode needs to be generated
from a website that is hosted on a production server, where installation of
components is discouraged, or a web
hosting service with several clients. The PHP Barcode
Script supports linear barcode types including Code 128 (with character sets
A, B and C), GS1-128 or UCC/EAN-128, Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI, Industrial 2
of 5, USPS Postnet and Planet.
