The PowerScan 7000BT SRI is considered to be the most rugged, durable and reliable cordless industrial handheld scanner available. It is designed for package handling and tracking, warehouse applications, shipping and receiving, manufacturing shop floor and other demanding applications - for both indoor and outdoor use. It utilizes a durable thermoplastic hard shell enclosure which is liberally over-molded with shock absorbing urethane. This overmold covers all of the most-likely drop contact points, adding an extra level of shock protection for the scanner. The scanner can withstand 50 drops of two meters (6 Feet - 6 Inches) to concrete. The scanner is sealed against dust and water at an industry leading IP65 rating and can operate between -20 degrees C and 50 degrees C.
