Opticon LPN-1736 Omni-Directional Scanner Details:

The LPN1736 omni-directional laser scanner is one of the smallest, hands-free scanners available with a footprint requiring less than 9 square inches of space. This high-tech 3" x 3" scanner operates at 1000 scans per second using 32-bit microprocessor technology. The miniature size allows the scanner to fit into small areas making it ideal for various uses from industrial environments to point-of-sale applications. Omni-directional scanning allows quick hands-free scanning without the need for specific barcode orientation. The concentrated 20-line scan pattern provides quick, sure-fire operation even for novice users. The LPN 1736 automatically determines and decodes the most popular barcode symbologies. Various parameters are programmable, allowing the user to easily setup the scanner to match the specific application. The adjustable table or wall stand, that is included with the kit, provides convenient placement for hands-free scanning and can be mounted on either vertical or horizontal surfaces.

Free software included: With each purchase of this scanner, a license is provided for the use of IDAutomation's Free Barcode Font, Free Barcode Label Design Application and the Barcode Scanner ASCII String Decoder. Generally, these free products may only be used by non-profit organizations. However, when this scanner is purchased from IDAutomation, a license is granted without this limitation according to the license agreement. The software may be downloaded once the purchase is completed.
