| MSI | The MSI Plessey barcode was designed in the 1970s by the Plessey Company in England and has been used primarily in libraries and retail applications. |
| IntelligentMail | USPS Intelligent Mail Symbology, also known as OneCode. |
| Postnet | The POSTNET (POSTal Numeric Encoding Technique) barcode is a special barcode developed by the US Post Office to encode zip code information. |
| Planet | Confirm is a new standard from the U.S. Postal Service that uses a special barcode called PLANET to track letter-size mail electronically. |
| Telepen | A Barcode symbology designed in 1972 in the UK to express all 128 ASCII characters without using shift characters for code switching, unlike Code 128, while only using two different widths for bars and spaces. |
| UPCa | Universal Product Code (UPC) barcode is used in the retail industry. UPC-A consists of 12 numbers. |
| UPCe | UPC-E consists of 12 numbers that are compressed into 8 numbers for small packages. |
| UCC128 | This is a data standard of the Code128 Symbology. The required FNC1 character will be added to the beginning of the data if it is not already present. |
