Product Update: QR-Code Barcode Font and Encoder

(Tampa, FL.) IDAutomation.com, Inc. announces an update to their QR-Code Font and Encoder Suite. The QR-Code barcode fonts utilize IDAutomation's Vertical Interleaved Technology, which allows printing of high-density QR-Code and GS1-QR-Code symbols with TrueType, PCL and PostScript fonts.

2017 updates to the QR-Code Font and Encoder Advantage Package include the following:

• Added GS1, HIBC and ISBT additional functionality to the FEA, FileMaker Font Encoder Object, Excel and Access VBA, Crystal Reports formula and the JavaScript Font Encoder.
• New FileMaker Font Encoder Object to create QR Code barcodes in FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Go.
• New JavaScript Font Encoder to create QR-Code barcodes that is compatible with Apache Cordova and Adobe PhoneGap.
• Updated the .NET DLL and Crystal UFL to support GS1-QRCode.
• Added Crystal Reports and VBA Native Font Encoders to the package to allow barcode generation without UFLs or DLLs.
• Updated the Font Encoder App (FEA) to generate EPS images.
• Added more efficient barcode generation algorithms to all updated components.
• Added a default mask option to the Crystal Formula, JavaScript and VBA encoders to improve generation time.

The package also includes the Windows COM DLL, Crystal Reports UFL, Filemaker Pro Plugin, .NET DLL and Java Class Library font encoders and .NET Forms Control and ASP.NET Server Control graphic encoders. QR-Code is an area efficient two-dimensional (2D) barcode symbology capable of encoding large amounts of data. The data encoded may include letters, numbers, text and actual bytes of data, including extended characters, Unicode characters and small photos.

A demo version may be downloaded from https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-fonts/2d/qr-code/ and includes fully functional examples. A single user license for the QR-Code Font and Encoder starts at $299 and a royalty-free Developer License starts at $1790.
