Barcode, Check, MSR Card Slot & Contactless Readers
Several types of slot readers are offered below, including the following:
- Barcode slot readers are devices that look similar to magnetic
stripe readers but have the capability to read barcodes.
- Magnetic stripe readers (also referred to as MSRs) read
drivers licenses, credit cards and other information encoded
in the magnetic strips contained in the card. Combo readers
can read both barcode and magnetic
- Check readers can read bank checks encoded with either
or CMC-7 fonts
and have a MSR option.
Contactless readers can read embedded circuit data located in a
chip within smart cards via radio waves, used with NFC and EMV payments.
Counterfeit Money/ID Document Detection with the
Gryphon I GM4100 Base Station is used to verify authenticity
of Bank Notes and ID Documents, as well as the ability to detect
a variety of key identifiers on any currency or document.
