Reseller and Affiliate Program Information

IDAutomation pays a 30% commission on all IDAutomation software sold by affiliate or reseller programs.

NOTE: The affiliate and reseller programs are not eligible for one-time purchases and require an ongoing commitment to selling IDAutomation products. THE AFFILIATE PROGRAM MAY NOT BE USED TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS FOR THE AFFILIATE'S OWN COMPANY, ANY SISTER ORGANIZATION, OR ANY SUBSIDIARY.

The affiliate program provides an automated method of reselling IDAutomation's products where IDAutomation pays a 30% commission on all IDAutomation software sold from a referral link.

How it works:

• The affiliate program is free, and anyone with a website can join.
• After joining the affiliate program, you create a link to IDAutomation.com from your website with your affiliate ID. The most successful affiliates create links from web pages of similar information with a short description of IDAutomation's product.
• Anytime someone clicks on the link and purchases within 3 months, you receive a commission for the product sold.
• Affiliates earn 30% for purchases of all IDAutomation software, 5% on all hardware and NiceLabel products. IDAutomation's products range in price from $99 to over $10,000 USD. This is a very good commission rate considering that IDAutomation handles pre-sales and post-sales technical support as well as order processing.

Sign-up Instructions:

1. Determine your affiliate ID. Generally, your ID will be the name of your company or domain, excluding any spaces or periods, and limited from 4 to 10 characters. For example, if your website is acmecorp.com, your affiliate ID would be "acmecorp."
2. Create links to IDAutomation.com from product pages of similar information with your affiliate ID.
   1. To link directly to the IDAutomation home page, use a question mark after the domain name with your affiliate ID.
      For example: http://www.idautomation.com/?acmecorp
   2. It is also easy to link to a particular product. For example, to link to the IDAutomation Universal Barcode Font webpage with an affiliate ID of acmecorp, the affiliate would use this URL:
      http://idautomation.com/cart/Default.aspx?afid=acmecorp&redir=http://www.idautomation.com/fonts/universal/
3. Copy and paste all text from the grey box below into an e-mail, with the your text to the right of each field, and e-mail it to:

   (Note: all fields are required) Company Name: First Name: Last Name: Address: City: State or Province: ZIP Code: Country: Phone number: Email address: Website URL: URLs where you are linking to our site: Email address for PayPal payment: When PayPal is not preferred, only US bank checks can be mailed to you, in this case, list whom the check is to be made payable to: The affiliate program may not be used to purchase products for the affiliate's company, any sister organization, or any subsidiary. Do you agree to this and all other terms of the Affiliate program?: As required by the IRS, IDAutomation needs all businesses operating in the United States to complete a W9 Form. Please complete the W9 Form including the affiliate's EIN or SSN, signing the form and attaching it to the email request. NOTE: All affiliates must report affiliate income to the affiliate's tax authority. IDAutomation does not withhold any taxes from the amount IDAutomation pays the affiliate.



4. Test each affiliate link by performing the following:
   1. Open a browser to your website that contains the affiliate link.
   2. Click on the affiliate link from your website.
   3. View the cookie created by IDAutomation.com named AffiliateName. Cookies may be viewed in FireFox by choosing Tools - Options - Show Cookies. The cookie should show your name in the content field.
      
      The Affiliate ID is the number associated with your affiliate ID and verifies that you are registered as an affiliate. Within redirect links, your affiliate ID is referenced ( for example http://idautomation.com/cart/default.aspx?afid=107 ).
5. If you do not receive a response within 5 business days, please resend the email or submit a help desk ticket. Affiliate checks will be mailed out with an activity report quarterly. To assist in the setup of IDAutomation's products, view IDAutomation's list of PAD XML files or IDAutomation's Product Index. IDAutomation's graphics may be used, however, text may not be copied from IDAutomation's website, unless it is rewritten. The reason for this is that text that is the same on two linking sites will receive a penalty from the search engines, or the search engines will ignore the pages altogether.

The Technology Behind the IDAutomation Affiliate Program:

The IDAutomation Affiliate Program is designed directly in the IDAutomation shopping cart by using cookies for tracking. In the event that multiple affiliates are involved, the most recent referral is given credit. IDAutomation will send a report via email and a check or PayPal payment in USD to all affiliates that generate sales. Payment will be sent 30 days after each quarter (every 3 months) for commissions earned in that quarter. The ability for affiliates to receive reports in real time will be added to the system at a future date.

The IDAutomation Reseller Program offers a 30% discount on IDAutomation software and allows the reseller to resell by drop shipping or stocking IDAutomation products in physical form. The reseller program requires the following:

• Reseller must be a reseller of hardware or software solutions.
• A marketing commitment.
• A minimum $300 order.
• The reseller must provide IDAutomation a wholesale or resale certificate.
• Reseller must commit to promote IDAutomation products. The program is not offered for one-time purchases.
• The reseller may not use the reseller program to purchase products for the reseller's own company, any sister organization, or any subsidiary.
• Reseller must complete, sign and fax the Reseller Agreement to IDAutomation.

After approval of the Reseller Agreement, the reseller will receive a coupon for 30% off the list price of our Software programs. Hardware, such as barcode scanners and printers, as well as Priority Support and Upgrade Subscriptions are not part of the reseller program. The reseller program is not eligible for one-time purchases and requires an ongoing commitment to selling IDAutomation products.

The marketing commitment must be one or more of the following:

1. If Reseller has a printed product catalog, Reseller must promote IDAutomation products in the Reseller's printed product catalog.
2. If Reseller has website where products are sold, Reseller must promote IDAutomation products on the Reseller's website. This option can be also be automated by the IDAutomation affiliate program.
3. If Reseller has a product database that is shared with at least 20 other organizations, Reseller must promote IDAutomation products in this database.
